With two races left until the mid-season break, and Ferrari winning the last two races, Red Bull will be looking to get back on form with a win in France. With Mercedes being incredibly consistent, they could take another podium as they have many times this season.
While Ferrari have the pace to compete with Red Bull, their reliability has not been up to the level it should be in a championship fight, with Carlos Sainz retiring in Austria. Ferrari have had a DNF from reliability issues in three of the past six races. This is not good for a team challenging for a championship, but they have the momentum, can they carry that into another win this weekend?
Haas have been a team to keep an eye on in recent races, they have gained plenty of points recently getting them to seventh in the constructors’ championship, only 16 points behind Alfa Romeo in sixth. More points finishes like the ones in Austria and Britain could see them fighting for sixth, which after last season is a huge positive for the American outfit. Can they keep their points finishes?
Williams have had a disappointing season only grabbing one points finish, to get something out of this season, getting at least another points finish before the mid-season break would give them some confidence when coming out of the break into the second half of the season. Will they be able to grab more points?
The battle will be another tight one this weekend, the title fight also continues on, as Red Bull look to get a win back and Ferrari look to win once again and close the gap to Red Bull.
